An Evangelical Covenant Church

Visiting Redeemer

When you arrive at Redeemer for either service, you are invited to park in the front and use either of the front entrances. We have handicapped parking near both entrances.

At the front door, there are friendly people (we call them “greeters”) to say hello, answer any questions you have, and direct you to either of our two worship centers. If you need childcare (ages 0 - 4) they can show you to the nursery. Halfway through the service, we dismiss the children in grades K - 6 to Children's Church (you may accompany them to see where to pick them up). If your children are shy, they’re welcome to stay with you, but most kids really enjoy Children's Church, which is available during both services.

You’ll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably, in anything from traditional church clothes to office casual to jeans and sneakers. If you arrive early, you’re welcome to have a cup of coffee or other drinks and pick up information about Redeemer Church in the lobby area.

When you come in the sanctuary or Family Life Center, you’ll be given a copy of the "Bulletin” which has the agenda for the day’s service and an outline for the sermon.

The service usually begins with some upbeat music, followed by a welcome and introduction. There is a time of community where we shake hands with those around us. More singing will follow, led by the praise team in the Praise Service. We have a heart for God's children of all ages, so our worship reflects a variety of styles and tastes; from contemporary with a praise band to hymns accompanied by an organ.

We include collecting tithes and offerings as part of our worship and thanksgiving to God. We want you to feel welcome as our guest, and let the plate pass. Redeemer's members and regular attenders support the church financially; we don't expect our guests to do that. After the offering, a book is passed down the rows for you to share any contact information you would like us to have. We will not flood your mailbox or inbox with unnecessary correspondence. We just want to be able to keep you updated on events happening in the church.

The message will be based on the Bible, and often includes interesting quotes from contemporary people, songs, or movies. You'll hear solid Christian theology in intelligent, understandable, relevant, challenging terms. A prayer and song will follow the message.

After the service, you'll pick up your kids from their classrooms, and then we hope you’ll stay, meet some people and enjoy some refreshments. Church is about God and worship, but it is also about community and friendship, so we hope you will genuinely experience warmth and friendliness at Redeemer.

Before you leave, make sure you stop by the Visitor’s Center in the lobby and pick up a free gift we have you as a thank you for coming.

We hope you’ll visit us this weekend!

Two Ways To Worship!

Heritage Service - 9:45 am

If it's the more traditional worship style that you prefer, then the Heritage Service at 9:45 am is just for you. Accompanied by piano, organ and choir, you'll enjoy the familiar sounds of the great hymns of the church, as well as many contemporary praise songs. The Heritage Service is reverent and meaningful, and a great worship opportunity for you!

Worship is in the Sanctuary

Praise Service - 11:00 am

The Praise Service at 11:00 am is a worship experience for those who prefer a more modern worship sound. At the Praise Service, you'll experience relevant and life-changing teaching, great contemporary music with a live band, and the opportunity to build relationships that will last a lifetime. Put on your jeans, relax, and have a cup of coffee which is available during the service.

Worship is in

the Family Life Center

Tip: Not sure which service is best for your worship style? Attend the Heritage Service then stay for the first 15 minutes of the Praise Service for the music. It’s the same great message at both services.
